From Thailand to a New Beginning

It began in a home that woke each morning to the scent of curry and spices drifting through every room. In that kitchen, recipes weren't written down — they were felt. Adjusted by taste. Guided by instinct. Passed from hand to hand.

When our family journeyed from Thailand to the United States, those flavors came with us. They were more than food — they were memory, identity, and connection. They were how we kept our culture alive in a new world.

meet the founder

My name is Pana Thitaram, I learned to cook at my mother's side.

As a child, I was her kitchen helper — tasting, watching, and learning long before I could reach the counter. I watched her move with quiet confidence, balancing sweet, heat, salt, and acid the way only experience can teach.

Her restaurant became my classroom. Her patience became my foundation.That path carried me into culinary school and professional kitchens, where I refined my technique — but never forgot where flavor truly comes from: patience, sacrifice, and love.

As a first-generation American, I grew up loving traditional American barbecue just as much as I loved the dishes of my heritage. I loved smoky ribs and backyard cookouts. I loved bright herbs and balanced Thai heat.

And somewhere between those two worlds, Mama House was born. Not as a compromise — but as a celebration.

Mama House is the meeting of those flavors. A bridge between where I come from and where I am.

Between my mother's kitchen and the American grill.

To me, cooking is a language of connection. It's how I honor my family's journey. It's how I carry forward the sacrifices made before me. It's how I invite others to gather, taste, and share something meaningful.

My hope is simple:
